We started this week with a group meeting where we discussed our current progress on the games development and what we would be working on for the current week. Once we had gone around to everyone, we then discussed any issues that we had faced up to this point and how we were able to solve them. During this I bought up how it was difficult for us in the Audio department to know what to work on during the first four weeks and we solved this when we received the list by the designers in week five.

After discussing our roles last week, I began to experiment with what I could do for the games main theme. With the player taken on the role of the grim reaper I decided to try produce a horror like theme. After some trial and error, I came across a synth in FL Studio which reminded me a lot of 80s horror music.

After finding this synth, I decided to find a key I would like to use for the melody. After further experimenting, I decided to go with the key of C major because major is meant to sound happy which I think would be good in misleading the player into the game they were about to play. With my key now in place I decided to put some notes together that I like. Eventually I did and created this melody.

For the following week I was hoping to further improve on the work in progress theme.
