As stated at the end of last week, my goal was to have the main theme complete. With this being the only thing left for me to do I started it straight away. I wanted this song to be simple whilst also having many layers. so, I decided that I would have the melody looping throughout the whole piece whilst having it played on different instruments. I already had it play through a sinister synth and a choir so I started thinking what I could do next. With the team previously stating they would like the soundtrack to be inspired by Gothic Rock, I decided that I would implement an electric guitar next. Finding started off a bit tricking because when working on a budget, most digital guitars sound nothing like there real life counter parts. However, after some looking, I came across one which sounded quite natural and sounded very fitting with Gothic Rock. With that I then implemented the melody I had created into it, and it made the piece sound even more aggressive.

I wanted it to sound more like the eighties, so I decided to a add another synth in the background just playing a single note throughout to provide some ambience.

Finally, I added a slight cut to the end with the guitar to make the piece loopable and applied some automation to it all to ensure none of the instruments were overlapping each other. And then my piece was complete meaning all my tasks for the game were done.
