Week Five:

As stated at the end of the previous week us Audio Designers were waiting for the list by the designers which including all the audio we had to create. Luckly it was ready for us this week and had loads of sound effects listed.



The list was colour coded by priority. Green being the highest of priority and orange being secondary. After reading the tasks, we decided to split the sound effects into three categories:

  • Weapon Design

  • Enemy Design

  • UI Design

With them organised we then discussed who would like to be responsible for each one and what music we would like to compose. In the end we decided that:

  • I would work on UI design and Menu Screen

  • Pawell - Weapon design and Mansion Music

  • Ollie - Enemy design and Warehouse Music.

With our roles now in place we informed the rest of the team, and I added all the tasks I need to do onto the Trello board. With playtesting being in a few weeks, we wanted to know if the audio that I had made previously made fit the gameplay and look of the current build. With the build's visual yet to be complete I was unfortunately unable to get a proper answer.
